Uneven Fairways – Although it's an encore, this Golf Channel special is a worthy addition to Black History month. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, it celebrates the members of the United Golfers Association who challenged segregation on the links. Destination Golf – Join host Lauren Thompson for this Golf Channel series focusing on the best golfing in South Carolina from Hilton Head to Myrtle Beach. Howard Goodall's Great Dates: – Music, as we know, doesn't exist in a vacuum; it reflects its time and the circumstances of that time. In this 3-part special, Howard Goodall examines musical masterworks in their political, historical, social and cultural contexts. Part one looks at 1791, part two at 1874 and part three at 1937. Duel at Daytona – NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing begins with this event at the fabled Daytona 500. On Speed Channel beginning at 2 pm ET/1 pm CT.

Brooks & Dunn: Cowboy Town – Get first-hand access to the country stars' latest tour in this GAC special, including a mini-concert from the back of a flatbed truck and a surprise concert in Dallas' Cowboy's Red River Club. Watch beginning at 9:30 pmET/8:30 pm CT.

Jazz Heroes: Thelonious MonkOvation's portrait of jazz great Thelonious Monk features interviews with Sonny Rollins and Stan Tracey, and focuses on what a transformative figure he was in the jazz world. It airs at 10:30 pm ET/9:30 pm CT.

Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremonies – The broadcast will be on NBC this evening beginning at 8:30 pm ET/7:30 pm CT. Behind the Crime Scene – News accounts don't ever tell the full story behind a celebrity death. This new VH1 series follows a story from the first emergency call to the final determination of cause – criminal or not. Kick Buttowski – What's it like being an extraordinary kid in a very ordinary town? This new Disney XD is all about a short boy with a big heart who lives large. Everything he does he puts an extra effort into. Kick is determined to be the world's greatest daredevil and so, if life sends him an obstacle, he'll jump it. Watch beginning at 8:30 am ET/7:30 am CT.

Survivors – If you're human, you undoubtedly have wondered what would happen if civilization somehow disappeared through disease or disaster. This new BBC America series dramatizes that question: what if the world were stripped of law, commerce, communications, transportation, electricity, clean water? The heroes of the series are left to start over in a very different world where the safe and familiar are now strange and dangerous. A small group is left in a world brought down by a virus. It offers a chance at a new beginning but it will be very, very hard. Watch beginning at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT and then it moves to a regular 9/8 slot.

Elevator GirlHallmark's new telefilm brings together a free-spirited woman and an uptight lawyer, trapped in an elevator. As different as they are, could a relationship get off the ground? Opposites attract in the premiere beginning at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Bill Maher ... But I'm Not Wrong – Witty, acerbic, sarcastic – all great descriptors of this comedian and political commentator. This new HBO special will have you both laughing and squirming as he takes on the presidency of Barack Obama, the divide between "the two Americas," religion and other hot-button topics. Broadcast live from Raleigh, NC and premiering at 10 pm ET/9 pm CT.

Valentine's Day MAX Movie Marathon – Start your romantic movie watching early with Cinemax's marathon. It begins at 6:10 am ET/5:10 am CT. Check your online and onscreen listings for individual titles & times.

Johnny Bravo Marathon – It's Valentine's Day, a perfect time for Boomerang to showcase its girl-chasing mama's boy. This marathon will line up some of the most disastrous dates that Johnny has had. And, beginning at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT, the network will air a special, It's Valentine's Day, Johnny Bravo.

Getting Over Him in 8 Songs or LessHBO2's Valentine's Day offering is this half-hour animated film about a woman who's going through a painful breakup and resulting journey to self-discovery. Watch at 7:30 pm ET/6:30 pm CT.

Predicting Monster Earthquakes – Reflecting back on last month's disaster in Haiti, you'll want to see this Science Channel special that explains how far we've come in predicting earthquakes, and why they still elude science. Watch beginning at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Prison WivesInvestigation Discovery celebrates Valentine's Day with a series premiere focusing on the men and women who fall in love and continue to love, a spouse who's doing time behind bars. It's a definite strain on them and their families and you'll have a chance to see how they cope. Watch tonight at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT and then regularly on Wednesdays at 10/9.

StarStruck – The choice is between heart and career in this new original Disney Channel movie starring Sterling Knight and Danielle Campbell. It spotlights Hollywood's hottest pop star who meets a sweet small-town girl. He has to choose whether to do what's best for his soaring career or what his heart tells him he wants to do. The two meet by accident (literally!) when her family is on vacation in L.A. and he falls hard. But he has to try to cover it up because a romance might hurt his chances of starring in a big movie. Hollywood Hookups: Makeups & Breakups – Feeding our obsession with everything celebrity, MTV's half-hour special highlights star couples, celebrity breakups and other falling in and out of love stories. Watch beginning at 9:30 pm ET/8:30 pm CT.

Killer Whales – Orcas are smart, strong and fast, earning the "killer" moniker. They can even savage a great white shark. New research is showing that this incredible sea-going mammal is evolving right before our eyes. Watch this Discovery special and see how, beginning at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Sexting in America: When Privates Go Public – There's a new, and shocking phenomenon, especially among teenagers. It's called "sexting" and it involves sending nude pictures via text message. About 20% of young people say they've participated. MTV examines the trend in this special beginning at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT.

Tyrannosaurus Sex – Yes, you read it right!  This Discovery special opens the window on how the dinosaurs reproduced. You'll see some pretty cool CGI and hear some interviews with paleobiologists – scientists who marry paleontology with biology – to unveil some of the mysteries of these extinct creatures. Watch beginning at 10 pm ET/9 pm CT.

How to Make It in America – It takes hustle to make it in NYC, and these two Brooklyn twenty-somethings are determined that they'll get to the top of the fashion business. It's a new comedy series on HBO premiering at 10 pm ET/9 pm CT and then settling into a Sunday slot at 10/9.

Kimora's Home Movies: Baby Kenzo's Birth – Bet Kimora's home movies don't look like ours! Watch this new special on Style and see her never-before-seen home videos. 10 pm ET/9 pm CT.

Peak Season: Vancouver – Timed to coincide with the Olympics in Vancouver, BC, this half-hour docudrama series focuses on a tight-knight group of young people who call the Whistler ski area home. There's breathtaking scenery plus a lot of romance, comedy, secrets and drama, especially during the winter – peak season. According to VH1's news release, "...every town has stories and secrets [but] few rival the ones from Whistler as captured in this smash hit series." Premieres at 11:30 pm ET/10:30 pm CT

Bathroom Divas – How do you go from singing in the shower to singing opera on stage? Watch this new reality show on Ovation and you'll see. Made in Canada, it showcases some of the country's best talent. Watch beginning at 8 am ET/7 am CT.

Smurf-a-Thon – These small, woodland creatures live in an enchanted forest and spend their lives trying to avoid Gargamel, who wants to capture them for his own evil plans. This is Boomerang's first Smurf-a-Thon, and it begins at 8 am ET/7 am CT and lasts all day and into the evening.

Sports Movie Stunt – Celebrate President's Day with three of the best sports movies, ever! Versus runs each of them twice, beginning at 1 pm ET/Noon CT. The movies are Slapshot, Tin Cup & Caddyshack.

NCAA Honors Celebrations – This is what puts the truth in the phrase "Student Athlete." The NCAA honors athletes who have also excelled at academics. Among them is Tim Tebow, who also has  Heisman Trophy. Watch this inspiring special on ESPN2 beginning at 3:30 pm ET/2:30 pm CT.

Standing in the Shadows of Motown – Meet the unsung heroes of Motown Records, the in-house band: The Funk Brothers. They backed up many Motown hit-makers, including Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and many others. This documentary on Sundance Channel will visit with the surviving band members and live performances of the reunited Funk Brothers playing behind some current Motown greats. Watch beginning at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT.

Life Coach – Cheri Oteri stars in this short-form comic mini-drama that will air in short segments during the AMC Monday Night Movie beginning at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. You can also see it in its entirety at www.lizalifecoach.com. Oteri is a life coach in reality but she also plays one on TV. She tries to solve every problem that someone gives her and in doing so, attacks some of her own problems, too.

31 Days of Oscar® - February is the month of The Oscar®, and nobody has more award-winning films than TCM. Through March 3rd, the network will be running its annual 31 Days of Oscar, a grand total of 360 movies that either won or were nominated for an Oscar®.  The films will focus on "Best Picture," "Best Actor" and "Best Actress" winners and nominees. One unusual twist is that each film, shown uncut and without commercials, will link to the next film through the film's star.
