Christina Ricci stars in this thriller as Anna, a woman who has just been in a terrible car accident.  She wakes up not in a hospital but in a funeral home -- even though she's certain she's alive.  Liam Neeson plays the local funeral director Eliot Deacon, who is alreadypreparing her body for her funeral. Deacon explains that even though she feels "alive," she is dead and in a state of transition to the afterlife. Deacon swears he can speak to the dead and is just trying to help anna accept her own demise.  But Anna's boyfriend (Justin Long) is suspicious of what he's hearing from Deacon and his investigation only confirms his fears.  But he may be too late.

There was a lot of buzz around this movie when it came out earlier this year, but the language may be a little rough for kids.  Aaron Johnson plays Dave Livewski, a regular high school student who is obsessed comic books. He takes his obsession over the top when he decides to become a superhero himself -- even knowing he has no special powers or abilities.  Call it a leap of faith!  He becomes Kick-Ass and eventually forms his own league of heroes including Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and her father Big Daddy.

This thriller based on a Robert Harris novel, stars Ewan McGregor as a ghost writer hired to complete the memoirs of a retired British prime minister.  But somebody doesn't want that story out and what he uncovers could endanger his own life.  Roman Polanski directed this movie that also features Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall, Tom Wilkinson, Eli Wallach and James Belushi.

Steve Carrell and Tina Fey star in this comedy adventure about a married couple whose most adventurous step is to assume another couples' name while waiting for a table in a choice restaurant.  They just picked the wrong name!  Their boring life is turned upside down -- and they may never be the same again!

You know how funerals bring together family -- all of them -- in what can be a sweet but occasionally annoying reunion. This comedy spotlights what happens when a stranger appears a the family patriarch's wedding in hopes of exposing some rather surprising family secrets.  Based on a similar British comedy, the movie stars Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence, Danny Glover and Peter Dinklage.

Greg Heffley and all the characters from Jeff Kinney's illustrated novels come to life in this family comedy.  Heffley is a sixth grader, faced with his first experiences as a middle schooler and he's convinced  it's "the dumbest idea ever invented."   He's journaling his experiences ("It's NOT a diary!")  and hoping his wise-cracking ways don't get him into hot water with the various bullies and pitfalls in his way.

Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from Mumbai, suffers from Asperger's syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism. He's married to a Hindu single mother, Mandira, and they live in San Francisco.  Not long after 9/11, Rizwan is detained by authorities at LAX who mistake his disability for suspicious behavior.  Following his arrest, Rizwan starts working with a therapist and then begins a journey to meet US President Obama in order to clear his name.

Images can be deceiving!  Demi Moore and David Duchovney star as Kate and Steve Jones, a seemingly perfect couple with perfect kids, perfect clothes, perfect jobs and the perfect home.  Of course the neighbors aspire to keep up with the Joneses but the "perfect family" has a few secrets they're not sharing with the neighbors!   Also features Glenne Headley and Gary Cole.

This charming documentary film follows one year in the lives of four babies from around the world -- Mongolia, Namibia,  San Francisco and Tokyo.  While their lives are very different, the film documents the similarities and experiences that the four babies share.
